Manuscript assessments One of the most difficult parts of my writing life is often finding a friend to read the various drafts of my works in progress. And yes, I’ve had some wonderful writer friends over the years do this for me, and I read many manuscripts in return. However, sometimes it feels like an imposition. And sometimes, you may not have a circle of friends to ask for this sort of assistance. That’s why after reading draft manuscripts for years, I’m now offering a manuscript assessment to others and at very affordable prices so it’s accessible for most people, particularly aspiring or early writers. Let’s be clear, this is not editing. I will read your manuscript and provide you with honest, constructive feedback in the form of a short report on what I think is working well and perhaps could be improved. I care about your story and want you to make it the best it can be.
I will read any genre but have particular preferences for women’s fiction and romance, historical, dual time lines, romantic comedy. If you aren’t sure if I can help you, send me a message.
